Cégep Marie-Victorin offers in collaboration with the National Payroll Institute (NPI) a Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP) designation. This project results from the need for the NPI to meet the administrative and legislative demands of the profession. The program is designed for individuals who wish to work in the field of payroll compliance or who want to enhance their know-how in the area.
More than 400 payroll professionals have obtained their certification through Cégep Marie-Victorin.
The professional designation has allowed them to forge their career in one of today’s most highly competitive business sectors.
After you have registered with the Cégep, you can proceed with your registration with NPI: National Payroll Institute - Designation
In order to get the PCP certification, the person needs to complete the following courses:
- Payroll Compliance Legislation (no prerequisite)
- Payroll Fundamentals 1 (Payroll Compliance Legislation)
- Payroll Fundamentals 2 (Payroll Fundamentals 1)

*To cancel a course registration, you must send us a request by e-mail, at payroll@cegepmv.ca.
- If the course is cancelled by the Cégep, the fees will be refunded in full within approximately 25 days;
- In the event of a course start date change (within the same session), your registration will remain active, unless you notify us otherwise. In such circumstances, the above cancellation and refund policies will apply.
